Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust provide a memory and dementia care pathway across South Staffordshire that provides specialist help for people with memory problems. The service offers specialist memory assessment, diagnosis and treatment. During your initial assessments they will meet with you, your family / carers to discuss your current difficulties and agree on a plan of care to address your ongoing needs. Referral should be made through your GP.
ARE YOU CARING FOR SOMEONE WITH DEMENTIA?
We run a morning social for people with dementia and their carers.
It is fortnightly on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month in Barton Village Hall (easy parking!). The aim is to provide a little extra help for people and their carers who are living with dementia. There is no charge but donations are welcomed.
